3. Apply the lace melt band.
4. Style the rest of your hair while waiting for it to set.
5. Remove the band from the hairline.

Tip for a flawless lace melt: To prevent the glue or gel from turning white and sticking to the band, wait for the glue to dry partially before applying the lace melting band. This will result in a perfect installation and a seamless lace blend with your scalp.
